Julia Buntaine – Visualizing science: bridging the science-art gap

This lecture is from SciViz.NYC, a one-day educational event held on November 18, 2016 at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. (www.sciviz.nyc) One major bridge recently formed between art and science is science visualization. The act of visualizing science through illustration and art not only creates a working relationship between science and art but helps to relay science to the public. In this presentation, the speaker discusses her work with the SciArt Center, located in New York City.
